Well, besides those other reasons I listed, and since I just so happened to be in shape already anyway, I was also plastered on the wall of the huge new-at-the-time Rec Sports Center back in college, leading me to believe I was too sexy AND too smart for that corporate khaki standard.
Still wore khakis on occasion all the way through my first year in LA anyway. People are funny.
