BUT...
Like with all true Art of Depth, it's not just what it is as it is as you see it, about the pattern of thoughts and designs and reasons and choices behind it, that are, in fact, merely a reflection of the "Artist's" mind at the time in the equation by which it was created.
And since it represents me ever-aspirational/improvement-based nature, and the color choices were limited to whatever was in the most-basic set and not enough to complete the surface area they were used to color, things like those factors included explain a little more and 'straight through' the criticisms others might have not knowing or understanding the reality of the scenario from which it originated, and that can probably be a parallel metaphor for a lot of things.
