...have a very interesting and unique collection of presidential memorabilia on display. And for my visit and purposes, it's not even so much about the actual content, but about how it's laid out and displayed. This picture is actually epic, not necessarily because of what you can see clearly in it, but because of what you can't. :D
It truly is an interesting/crazy/different time to be alive on this planet than at any other point in history, if anything, simply one cursory glance at any piece of this or any historic correspondence clearly illustrated that, because of how it is written alone.

From the ink and well written pieces from the Civil War, to the hand and type written elements from pretty much the entire cast of late 20th century captains, the entire realms and ways and timeframes in which people communicated and existed were COMPLETELY different, and the fact that you are reading this however you are, only moments from when I first experienced it, and by countless other unknown minds at the same time, should drive that point home if not out of the park off the course into outerspace in video-with-sound format and back into our humanly comprehensible realm again.
Think about it.
What most sets us apart from animals besides the opposable thumbs and even from each other based on the historical old-world national/cultural lines (besides the completely man-made and artificial environments in which we exist)?
Communication. No other living beings can communicate on the levels humans have evolved to, even to the extent some have completely inverted and amplified that ability to exponential and eternal extents, but that's what I keep blah, blah, blah pointing out and sometimes "whining" about, because it's sooooo true and therefore I'm right to point out just how much of an impact it makes on all of our existence in one way or another.

That said, of course Beverly Hills is beautiful and everything is new, clean, and pretty, even if comically over-sized and over-priced for the average global citizen, but sincerely, what I have I hard time understanding is how the entire world and all life on this planet doesn't or can't be made to exist in such pristine form sans the need for huge houses unoccupied or the hierarchy that makes this the creme-de-la-creme exception to the standard.
I mean, I guess one day it could/might...even a complete sustainable version of it designed to be in sync and power itself off of solar energy the way nature powered life before man discovered oil as fuel and built all this with it, which is why I keep harping on the fact that we need to design a global system or network of them that is infinitely more responsible in how it treats life and existence from before conception period.
When the world has people too forced to be one treadmills and fighting internal or personal battles caused by old-world pen and ink well-based universal designs while completely being impervious to the impending non-renewable natural resource depletion doom, it's just surreal experiencing everything as it exists. Like I'm in the holodeck of the starship Enterprise just playing some sort of Sim life game existing in the (formerly) roaring 20's - but hell, even then everyone dressed in all-black suits and drove all-black model Fords not unlike the amusing black cloned Range Rovers that permeate this highest real estate strata of our society. I wonder if any of these presidents in the showcase were even remotely aware of the remote concept of peak oil on which all their designs and policies were (otherwise- blindly) built. Crazy to think about huh? All the men that have designed the world and each other before us have been operating from a comically crippled fractional data set and accordingly via mechanisms that relied on that same dark world universe to exist. What blows my mind the most is how little most all living human creatures on this planet know, myself included, and what implications that might have for all those who haven't been born into it via wealthy pornstar goddess or otherwise yet.
Trippy huh?
*waves at crowd with one hand while laughing and looking down, thinking about God-only-knows what at that moment, not even seen due to some completely random by chance cover of light reflection or perhaps whatever other theory about "there is no such thing as coincidence" you wanna insert here, when in truth there is*
You know what the hardest part of being human and trying to save or fix the world and each other from where it's at and where it might go otherwise if left unquestioned and unchecked?
Getting each individual human to understand, they, as a soul, and being, are separate from whatever they have had embedded in their programming their entire lives to believe they are, because that is the comically sad area where all the miscommunication, misunderstanding, and hatred comes from...sans all the fiat override monetary system designs that oh-so-powerfully divide families and friends and strangers alike. I mean, yeah, sure, it's one system...actually combined from a whole lot of different systems that all originated in different place at different times for different reasons, and accordingly whatever has been invested in them by others in blood, sweat, tears, love, joy, and the interest of great minds has merit, and so that can and should be recognized and seen for historical, museum-like, and design-component-mechanism analyzing and borrowing purposes, but just seeing this amidst the Hollywood and global political conflict climates makes me truly sad in a way. Why? So many lives and so much devastation has been caused in the name of nothing but pure propaganda, lies, greed, and battles of our dark world ancestors passed on, to be sitting here looking back at the world and even this point in history from an internet-foundationed perspective, it really makes the most serious and disastrous battles of time seem silly. And that much more tragic and embarrassing accordingly.
It's like imagine being programmed into a world and existence where, living in that old (ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY) dark bubble of consciousness with no such thing as the internet and its infinite wealth of collective knowledge present, you entire live and everything you know, believe, stand for, and do was programmed by some random person with some random book to play some random game...and God forbid to give and lose your life for it...only to have the future show-up and just rewrite everything.
Now imagine that is you and then is now in a way. Sure, you can't see it. Unless you're well-researched on all things beyond celebrity tabloid entertainment and thinking ahead. Depending on how old you are, you may never even know or experience it in what's left of your lifetime this time around. The world is gonna keep spinning and these millions and billions of ants are just going to keep doing what they are...but at some point within the next 50 to 100 years, within the lifetimes of your goddess or non-goddess children, things (and by 'things' I mean the entire foundational infrastructure on which the modern global societies are built and presently exist) are going to have to change dramatically in order for life on this planet to continue, and knowing a thing or two about living by extreme procrastination, when it comes to the world on a global scale destroying things while painting fake enemies of each other at a distance, I REALLY wish we would make those changes necessary to use what's left of the oil and absurd human population numbers to at least redesign around long-term sustainable products, systems, and a higher (Alpha) caliber of quality human machines to solve all these problems from the peer level or at least avoid creating such time trap/waste positions to begin with.
I mean, believe me my ego recoils at the thought of any design (obviously given my 'Morris' complex) that eliminates that drive to prove I'm better or more special or can achieve and design things creatively superior to others, but it might just be that lifelong capitalist conditioning coming from being the podunk society stand-out big fish in the tiny Electra pond clashing with all this other information I've learned in the last decade here in the ocean and especially what I've learned just in the last couple years alone on the internet, so I'm not 100% thrilled or OK with the Venus Project mono-chromatic first draft designs as they presently exist, but still, just watch www.Zeitgeist_________________.org (anything) and tell me the unforeseen system design flaws they bring up don't cause a paradoxical conflict of logic within you that rivals any other programming you've/they've/we've all accepted.
How many of these presidents, having been temporary stand-in masters of the world/actors, would freak the f7ck out if they even knew much of what has come to pass?
As a kid when my mind was lost in the realm of exotic dream car and dream angel posters on the wall, I always thought "wow, wouldn't it be so cool to go back in time with a Lamborghini Countach and just blow everyone's mind with the modern technology". (stop laughing) Yeah, surely all great minds of all relevant times in history have had similar thoughts. The catch is, that is before the internet existed.
We are just technology. Our existence and world we know is just the evolution of it. Things are tried. Usually to solve problems or fulfill needs. Some designs work. Others don't. For varying reasons and periods of time. What the computer network and this very technology that tracks and assists my every move represents is a way more than the giant leap forward "landing" on the moon represented, if seen, used, and developed correctly, it represents the ability to rewrite and improve the human experience of life on this planet for all of eternity, the only thing that is jeopardizing that at this point is being stuck and mired down in this old world military/adversarial/industrial complex/complicated design, and I sincerely believe if we would find a way to end the cyclical destructive consumption paradigm and focus on harnessing technology to improve the quality of life while focusing on Happiness in a "magical game-like way" to replace religions and all other mind/life control constructs, the future will look back on so many stories of these times and be able to laugh instead of cry.
Everything necessary to do this exists now, even with the world as it is. It's a programming sync thing, but there-in lies the design hmmm...
What I've noticed on my tour of neighborhood from the same box is, I only notice and am bothered by things that stand out in a negative or destructive way...much like how I watch TV and peruse the internet, but being me, and having come from and through such varying perspectives in life with sooo much depth and analysis to it at all times, I think there might be something to that. Like an internal core foundation to build on.
But who knows...these are just my thoughts standing in the entry way of the Beverly Hills library whacking at my Droid with my CGI evolved cat-like thumbs for an hour after just glancing at their display on the presidents instead of setting up my laptop and facing the commercial headshot/zedcard conundrum I came here to do (besides continue my library/greater LA city tour), so I'll do that now.
Fun, fun, fun...
